67th Know India Programme (KIP)

Participants of the 67th Know India Programme (KIP) visited the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) of the Ministry of External Affairs on 14 August 2023 for an orientation programme. Fifty-five young Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) from thirteen countries took part in the Programme. The orientation programme at SSIFS included modules on India and India’s foreign policy and was inaugurated by Ms. Manika Jain, Additional Secretary (DE) and Smt. Anita Shukla, Director (FT & NRG).

The KIP is a flagship initiative for Diaspora engagement which familiarizes Indian-origin youth (18-30 years) with their Indian roots and contemporary India through a three-week orientation programme organized by MEA’s Diaspora Engagement Division.
