The Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Services (SSIFS) is organising a two-day training programme for officers from the International Relations Division, Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India from 2-3 August 2021. 14 Officers from the Office of CAG are participating in the programme.
The programme was inaugurated on 02 August 2021 by Amb J.S. Mukul, Dean (SSIFS). This is a first of its kind programme organised by SSIFS, specifically for officers from the CAG Office.
As the officers from CAG Office prepare themselves to shoulder more global responsibilities like auditing of international organisations, the training at SSIFS would familiarise them with India’s foreign policy and the basic skills and tools of diplomacy.
Accordingly, the programme will focus on presenting a broad overview of India’s international relations including its contemporary dimensions and challenges, the dynamics of India’s neighbourhood and the need for reformed multilateralism.
