Special Course for Diplomats from Bangladesh (Annual Programme)

A special two-week training programme for Officer Trainees of the Bangladeshi Foreign Service is conducted every year at SSIFS. It is aimed at giving an introduction and perspective on India and its foreign policy including contemporary dimensions and challenges, strategic issues, relations with neighbouring countries (especially our multi-faceted ties with Bangladesh) and major powers, economic initiatives, development partnership and health diplomacy etc. The objective is to further deepen the fraternal ties between India and Bangladesh.

The following Programmes for diplomats from Bangladesh have been held so far:

1. 1st  Special Course for Bangladeshi Diplomats – 04 September – 04 October 2013
2. 2nd Special Course for Bangladeshi Diplomats – 03 – 17 July 2017
3. 3rd Special Course for Bangladeshi Diplomats – 19 November – 02 December 2018
4.  4th Special Course for Bangladeshi Diplomats – 09 – 22 December 2019
