Induction Training Programme for  Assistant Section Officers
(13-24 December 2021)

An Induction Training Programme for Assistant Section Officers (ASOs) of the 2017 and 2018 batches is being held at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) from 13-24 December 2021. 49 ASOs from the two batches who joined the MEA in 2020 and 2021 respectively, are participating in this course.

The training programme was inaugurated on 13 December 2021 by Dean (SSIFS) & AS (AD), Shri  Arun K. Chatterjee, who stated that the programme had been carefully curated keeping in mind the professional requirements of the ASOs who have been newly inducted into the Ministry of External Affairs.

The ten-day long training programme would include interactive sessions with speakers on a range of issues related to the Government and MEA functioning, rules and procedures.
