Induction Training Programme for Direct Recruit Assistant Superintendents of the Central Passport Organisation (CPO)

The first-ever Induction Training Programme for the 2018 batch of Direct Recruit Assistant Superintendents of the Central Passport Organisation (CPO) is being conducted from 04-13 April 2022 by the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) in collaboration with the PSP (Passport Seva Project) Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. Fourteen Assistant Superintendents are participating in this course. They are deployed with different Passport Offices across India.

The training programme was inaugurated on 04 April 2022 by Dean (SSIFS), Shri  Arun K. Chatterjee, who stated that the programme had been carefully curated keeping in mind the professional requirements of the Passport Cadre officials. This had been done in consultation with the PSP Division.

The eight-day long training programme would include interactive sessions with speakers on a range of issues related to the Government rules and regulations, MEA procedures and passport-related issues and services.
