1st Special Course for Tunisian Diplomats

1st Special Course for Tunisian Diplomats held at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India on 29 October to 9 November 2018. 50 young diplomats from Tunisia participated. The Special Course was inaugurated at FSI on 29 October 2018. Amb. J.S. Mukul, Dean (FSI) also hosted a welcome reception for the Tunisian diplomats. The delegation was led by Mr Mondher Dhraief, Director General, Diplomatic Institute of Tunisia and Mr Khaireddine Daboussi, Course Coordinator of Tunisia.

Amb. T.S. Tirumurti, Secretary (ER), Ministry of External Affairs of India and other senior officers of the Ministry addressed the diplomats of Tunisia as part of the training programme. The Special Course included modules on India’s foreign policy, key international issues, multilateral diplomacy and diplomatic skills. The diplomats of Tunisia got an exposure to India’s economic and technological development and undertake study tours to experience the rich cultural heritage of India.
