1st Special Course for Iranian Trainees

1st Special Course for Iranian Trainees held at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India on 26 Nov – 8 Dec 2018. 23 young trainees from Iran participated. The Special Course was inaugurated at FSI on 26 November 2018. Amb. J.S. Mukul, Dean (FSI) also hosted a welcome reception for the Iranian trainees. This delegation was led by Dr.  Bahador Aminian Jazi, Asst. Prof of Iranian Diplomatic Institute.

Amb. T.S. Tirumurti, Secretary (ER), Ministry of External Affairs of India and other senior officers of the Ministry addressed the Iranian trainees as part of the training programme. The Special Course included modules on India’s foreign policy, key international issues, multilateral diplomacy and diplomatic skills. The Iranian trainees got an exposure to India’s economic and technological development and undertake study tours to experience the rich cultural heritage of India.
