Visit of Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru, Director, Foreign Service Academy, Government of Kenya Foreign Service Institute (FSI)

Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru,  Director, Foreign Service Academy, Government of  Kenya visited Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi on 29 November 2019.  He was accompanied by Dr. Lillian Nzavi, Director HRM, Mr. James Rwoti Omosa – Deputy Director, Foreign Service Academy, Mr. Jackson Onkoba – Principal Quality Assurance and Standards Officer, H. E. Mr. Willy Kipkorir Bett, High Commissioner of Kenya and  Mr. Bernard Wekesa - Counsellor Political at the High Commission of  Kenya at New Delhi .

Amb. J.S. Mukul, Dean (FSI) welcomed Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru and other members of the delegation and briefed them about FSI and its training programmes. He mentioned that over 3300 diplomats from around 185 countries have participated at FSI’s training programmes. Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru  and other member delegation were also given a tour of FSI facilities. Amb. J.S. Mukul hosted a lunch in honour of Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru.

FSI & Foreign Service Academy, Government of  Kenya are in the process of signing  a MOU on cooperation in diplomatic training. Amb. J.S. Mukul and Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru discussed steps to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
