The 1st Special Course for Diplomats from Rwanda, 2nd Special Course for Diplomats from Libya, and 4th Special Course for Diplomats from South Sudan is being held at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, from 11-20 December 2024. 15 diplomats each from Rwanda & South Sudan and 10 diplomats from Libya are attending this combined special course. Dean (SSIFS), Amb Raj Kumar Srivastava inaugurated the course with a session on “Guiding Principles of India’s Foreign Policy and shared ten priorities of India’s vision of Global South and ten guiding principles for India’s engagement with Africa.
India has strong bilateral ties with Rwanda, South Sudan and Libya. The Special course reflects the deep rooted cordial relations which have grown steadily over the years. Modules included in the special course cover diverse areas of mutual interest such as :
