Participants of the 59th Know India Programme (KIP) visited the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India on January 06, 2020 for one-day familiarization programme. 39 participants from 08 countries are attending the Programme. The familiarization programme at FSI, which was inaugurated by Amb. J.S. Mukul, Dean (FSI), includes modules on India: Land, people and culture; foreign policy; and political system.
KIP is a flagship initiative for diaspora engagement which familiarizes Indian-origin youth (18-30 years) with their Indian roots and contemporary India, through a three and a half week (or 25 days) orientation programme organized by the Ministry of External Affairs.
